A Field Trip for the Students of Law
As part of the ongoing activities of the College of Law and Politics, a field trip was organized for the students of the Law Department on May 29, 2023, under the guidance of instructors Fawaz Saeed and Khader Nouri. The first-year students participated in this trip, which was specifically arranged to visit the adult correctional facility in Duhok Governorate. They were warmly welcomed by Colonel Muhammad Hassan, the reformatory's director.
The primary aim of this trip was to provide the students with firsthand practical knowledge about the rights of prisoners and detainees within correctional facilities. It served as an opportunity for them to gain practical insight into this aspect of the legal system.
