Advanced Building Technology

Course Code A.E.407 Th 2 Pr 2 CrHrs 4

This course aims to define the term of technology in general through the literature and philosophical definition of Advanced technology Buildings, studying the history of industrial revolution, defining buildings systems & construction methods technology, development of technology and to clarify the Architectural structures, Going to the system of construction the course also clarify the traditional system of construction coming to the advanced building construction, finally the effects of digital revolution on the Architecture design and employment.

Also, this course book explains inter-relation between architectural and advanced technology & relation between architecture & structure.

The objectives of course are to strengthen the viability of the architectural and structural information of the students & new architecture style concepts designing that refer to new advanced technology systems in buildings.
