Course Overview
:
General English for University Students is a flexible English learning resource that is carefully designed to develop the four language skills, namely: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. It provides a tried and tested teaching and learning tool suitable for a broad range of academic disciplines. The book covers diverse subjects and it is supported with photographic content and listening CDs.
This book is accompanied by a workbook that gives students everything they need to provide their proficiency level of English. It contains accessible content, practical guidance and sample questions with detachable answers, which help students to revise, practice, and check the progress and the improvement of their level.

Course Overview
:
English is a global language now; it is the language of science, business and communication world-wide. Therefore, it is incredibly important for students at this department to have some background knowledge of the language. Having some competence in English language is important for students at this department mainly for two reasons: while students they can use their knowledge of English to search for information relevant to their area of study in English on the Internet and after they graduate they can make use of English for collecting information in English about the different cases they deal with and/or for communicating with foreigners
