About the Law Department

The Law Department at the College of Law and Politics at Nawroz University is interested in building, consolidating and developing legal information in various branches of law.

 

The Vision:

The Law Department at the College of Law and Politics at Nawroz University seeks to occupy a prominent scientific position among the Law Departments included in the faculties of Law in other Universities (local - international), by contributing to the development of the Academic Scientific side and the Scientific Research side, relying on various tools that achieve Sobriety Scientific, whether in the aspect of Teaching and Education or in the aspect of Scientific Research.

The Message:

Law Department proceeds from the idea of ​​(building the legal personality of the law student), and this legal structure of the personality takes place on an academic theoretical level, and practical and applied level.

On the academic theoretical level: The department focuses on providing theoretical, Academic and Legal Information to the student in an Educational Environment that relies on a variety of educational tools, and makes the Student a center for learning. On the Practical and Applied level: the Department works on embodying the Academic Theoretical Information of the law student in a practical and applied form, in cooperation with the state institutions concerned with the application of the law (especially the courts), in order to achieve integration between the theoretical and the practical side of studying the science of law.

The Objectives:

1- Providing a distinguished university education in the field of law studies in accordance with the standards of quality assurance and reliability.

2- Work on Building the Legal Personality of the Law Student during the years of study, in a way that qualifies him after graduation to benefit from that study to serve the community.

3- Providing the Bar Association with highly qualified legal graduates to work in the legal profession.

4- Providing various state institutions with law degree holders who can be benefited from as human rights officials, whether at the level of civil or military positions.

5- Building, consolidating and developing legal information for law students in various branches of law.

6- Focusing on the field of auxiliary sciences to study law, through the development and consolidation of the law student's information in this field as well.

7- Work to achieve integration between the theoretical and practical aspects of studying law, through the embodiment of theoretical legal information in a practical and applied form.

8- Work to develop the practical side of the faculty members by urging them to participate in seminars, scientific conferences and workshops (both local and international).

9- Developing the academic scientific research aspect by urging faculty members to write and publish scientific research in scientific journals recognized locally and internationally.
