Sustainability is a modern concept put forward in the late twentieth century and figured prominently with early twenty-first century.it has become one of the principal questions for many and diverse specialities. at the begaining, architectural sustainability adopted the goal of minimizing the negative effects on human being and the environment.later on it has become a conscious approach towards energy and ecological preservation in the design of built environment  as it intigrates  the local context which includes place, climate and construction resources,employs appropriate materials and processes together with efficient mechanical and high-performance technologies to achieve healthy spaces and buildings tha simultaneously minimize the utilization of renewable natural resourses of the place. the speackers in this workshop will elaborate on the above mentioned issues, on both the theoritical and application level.
