Wednesday, December 4, 2019 (Kurdistan Hall - College of Languages) —The Department of Political Science, in cooperation with al-Mesalla Organization for Human Recourses Development, launched the first discussion panel on the rights and demands of the components in the draft constitution of the Kurdistan Region - Iraq.
At the forefront of the attendees were Dr. Shivan Ahmed, the Vise-President of the Scientific Affairs, Dr. Evin Khalid, Dean of the College of Law and Politics, Dr. Leyla Raswol, Dean of the Engineering College, several faculty staff, besides many of the NZU students.
The session started with an opening speech by Mr. Ahmed Kawani, Project Supervisor, then Mr. Lawin Thawri moderated the discussion with the keynote speakers Dr. Zirek Majid (Ph.D. in Law from the Le Havre Normandie university
in France and a lecturer in the College of Law and Politics) and Mr. Kawe Eido (Civil Activist)
