The scientific mission aims at achieving a number of objectives which are as follows :
- Inform students of the reality of penal institutions in Dohuk Governorate .
- Inform students of the most important laws, regulations and instructions in force in penal institutions .
- Activation of the practical aspect of the science of criminality and punishment .
