Within the framework of the activities carried out by the College of Law and Politics at Nawroz University, a workshop on domestic violence was organized in coordination with the Directorate of Combating Violence against Women and the Family and the UNICEF office in Dohuk, on Tuesday 24/11/2021 in the Teaching Methods Center hall. .
The workshop, titled (Domestic Violence between Legal Texts and Societal Realities), consisted of two axes: The first axis was presented by (Prof. Dr. Avin Khaled Abdel Rahman), Dean of the College of Law and Politics, and the second axis was presented by the officer (Farad Salim Muhammad) from the Directorate of Combating Violence against women and the family.
At the end of the workshop, many useful interventions were made after opening the discussion to the audience.
