The objective of the Fourth International Scientific Conference is "to explore the future prospects for the economy of Kurdistan Region/ Iraq in the light of the current changes" so as to identify the reality of this emerging economy, solve the economic problems resulting from the non-utilization of economic resources of efficiency at the level of Kurdistan Region and create new opportunities for work for individuals and society, The Conference also attempts  to make full use of all the potentials and resources and to create the capacity of the society members to exploit the available resources and to organize relations between them in the course of collective action directed at bringing about future change. The conference further aims at achieving the main objective of developing the unemployed energies and resources in order to exploit them optimally so that the economic sectors would contribute to the formation of GDP. There are many opinions of economic researchers in defining development goals. Some believe that development objectives focus mainly on the importance of social progress Economic development, as one of the most important development goals on the basis that development programs and projects aim to achieve better standards of living. Others believe that focus should be on the process of developing the capacities of the society members to work, think and  innovate with all necessary capabilities to achieve the objectives of sustainable and comprehensive development, to coordinate the work between the bodies working in the economic domain and reflect it in all economic sectors, whether governmental or nongovernmental so as to achieve the desired goals.
