The rights and duties of the lawyer under the provisions of the attorney law
In the Kurdistan Region number(17) of the year (1999).

Workshop Goals:
1. To introduce students to the behaviors that govern the legal profession, as it is a standing judiciary and a fundamental pillar of justice.

2. To introduce students to the nature of the relationship that the lawyer has with his/her client.
3. To familiarize students with the rights of the lawyer towards his/her client.
4. To familiarize students with the commitments and obligations of the lawyer towards his/her client.
5. To introduce students to the legal nature of the lawyer's obligation in cases that s/he delegates.

Workshop organizer:

Department of Law / College of Law and Politics / Nawroz University, a project with the Kurdistan Bar Association - Duhok City branch.

The workshop will take place at:
Pedagogy hall / College of Law and Politics/ Nawroz University.

The target audience of the workshop:
Fifth year students ( Seniors) / Department of Law/ College of Law and Politics/ Nawroz University.

The lawyers in charge of training the students in this workshop:
1- Attorney counselor: Dleer Baker Abdul Karim / President of the Kurdistan Bar Association - Duhok branch.
2- Attorney counsel: Ismat Aref Dosky / member of the Kurdistan Bar Association - Erbil.
3- Lawyer Counselor: Muhammad Hassan Omar / Chairman of the Professional Conduct Committee in Duhok Lawyers' Chamber.
4- Attorney counsel: Masoud Suleiman Hassan / Court or Appeals- Duhok.
5- Attorney Counselor: Bayar Ismat Abed / Court of Appeals- Duhok.

This workshop includes five axes, which will be distributed over two days, as follows:

First day:
Three themes will be presented:
The first axis: (Law as a Profession and an Art )
It will be presented by:

The second axis: (A Lawyer’s Material and Moral Rights)
It will be presented by:
Counselor: Ismat Aref Dosky / member of the Kurdistan Bar Association - Erbil

The third axis: (Rules of Professional Conduct that Govern the Profession of the Attorney)
It will be presented by:
Counselor: Muhammad Hassan Omar / Chairman of the Professional Conduct Committee in the Duhok Lawyers’ Chamber

Two axes will be presented, as follows:

(The Lawyer's Obligations towards his client) will be presented by:

The second axis: (The Art of Pleading Before the Judge)
It will be presented by:
