Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy


Nawroz University is dedicated to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members of our university community, including students, faculty, staff, and visitors. We are committed to promoting an atmosphere that is free from discrimination and harassment based on various factors, including but not limited to race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, and other protected characteristics.


Key Principles:

Non-Discrimination: We do not tolerate discrimination against any member of our university community based on their race, color, national origin, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion, or any other legally protected status.

Anti-Harassment: We maintain a strict anti-harassment policy, which prohibits any form of harassment, including but not limited to sexual harassment, verbal abuse, bullying, or any other unwelcome conduct that creates a hostile or intimidating environment.

Prevention and Reporting: We are committed to preventing discrimination and harassment and providing clear mechanisms for reporting such incidents. Any member of our university community who experiences or witness’s discrimination or harassment is encouraged to report the incident to the appropriate university authority.

Investigation and Resolution: We conduct prompt, thorough, and fair investigations into all reported incidents of discrimination and harassment. Appropriate action will be taken to address confirmed violations, which may include disciplinary measures.


Awareness and Education:

We provide training and educational programs to raise awareness about anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies. This includes mandatory training for employees and ongoing educational efforts to ensure a well-informed community.



All reports and investigations related to discrimination and harassment will be handled with the utmost confidentiality to protect the privacy and well-being of those involved.



Nawroz University strictly prohibits any form of retaliation against individuals who report discrimination or harassment in good faith.

We periodically review and update our anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies to ensure they align with legal requirements and best practices.
