During the table tennis tournament for Academic staff and Employees of NU and Duhok Governorate universities, the NU table tennis team was able to reach the semi-finals. The NU team, led by Dr. Mohammedali Yaseen Taha and Dr. Rebar Khorshid, won all matches including the singles and doubles. In a heated match between NU and Cihan University, the former came out victorious, advancing into the semi-finals to face the Duhok Polytechnic University Team.
The semi-finals matches are scheduled for the near future, and the winner will meet the University of Duhok team in the finals.
