Within a program called “Sister Cities International”, the president of Nawroz University, Professor Dr Abdulwahab Khalid Musa, participated in a virtual conference that was officially held between the Duhok Governate and Gainesville city, Florida, USA. As sister cities, Duhok and Gainesville signed an agreement on Monday (March 8th , 2021) that states to collaborate in the “education, economics, and cultural” sectors. It is worth mentioning that Nawroz University had previously signed a preliminary agreement with the University of Florida to collaborate in the sector of high education.
