In their new penal, Durham University Think Tank Society organized a talk for a lecturer of Law and Politics at NU, Dr. Mohammedali Yaseen Taha, namely “Myth or Reality: 2017 Kurdistanan Independence Referendum”. Dr. Taha delivered his talk via zoom to a group of students and lecturers at Durham University. The circumstances and consequences of the independence referendum as well as the relations with Iraq following the votes were the highlights of his lecture. It is worth noting that the lecture was on 5/21/2022, and with the participation of Dr. Bahar Baser from Durham University.
