On Saturday (February 21st, 2021) at (11:00 AM), College of Languages, at Nawroz University, held a Scientific Symposium at the Seminars Hall of College of Economic and Administration, to celebrate and cherish the occasion of the “International Mother Language Day”, under the title of ((Supporting multilingualism to create better interaction between education and society)), with the presence of media and the academic staff and students of the university, it also included topics of great importance and sparked an effective discussion by the attendees.
Moreover, the president of the University (Abdulwahab Khalid Musa), participated in an online Symposium, which was related to Kurdish Language, where it was held in western Kurdistan.

This morning, the president of the university also participated, through satellite in a program viewed (on air) live on the Kurdistan Channel, where he has answered a number of questions related to language.

On the same evening, the President of the University has also participated in the symposium held by the Kurdish Writers Union (Duhok City branch) on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day.
