On Tuesday, April 6th, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, His Excellency Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir and the accompanying delegation visited Nawroz University. They were warmly welcomed by the president of the university, Prof. Dr. Abdulwahab Khalid Musa and the university council.

Musa thoroughly discussed the current state of NU, mentioning its services, plans, its communication with the community, the adherence to scientific guidelines, the development of university staff and the students’ abilities.

The minister reiterated his satisfaction with the university, especially the scientific and academic activities. He said, “Nawroz University has high-quality education and is one of the prestigious private universities in Kurdistan; it is also an important centre of education and training for the development of various abilities”. He added: “we are aware of the vision and new plans of NU, especially its protocols and continuous developments. Again, we are satisfied, and we respect the concerns and efforts of the university staff. Nawroz is a private university with its own unique history and characteristics. It is an important partner of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research”.

It is worth mentioning that this visit was done under the guidelines of health and safety.
