Under the supervision of Dr. Mohammedali Yaseen Taha, the Vice President of NU and Dr. Bahar Baser from Durham University, the workshop of the joint project organized by the two universities started its third session on June,13, 2022. Numerous researchers attended the session to learn from the experiences of scholars and renowned international universities on the field of Kurdish Studies.
The project aims to develop the abilities of university academic researchers, train them on writing academic research, as well as publishing them in international journals of different fields such as social sciences and humanities. It is worth noting that the project is supported by the British Academy, and that at the end of the project, the best research will be published in the most prestigious academic journals globally.
